At Aloha, we are committed to finding the right balance between People, Planet and Profit, a core principle of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

Think of fewer CO2 emissions, reducing waste, and the well-being of people and animals. This is in line with international standards such as Green Key, a quality mark for sustainable companies in the recreation and leisure sector.
What is Green Key?
Green Key is an internationally recognized quality mark for sustainable companies in various sectors, including catering, recreation and tourism. The certificate confirms our commitment to protect the environment without compromising on comfort and quality. In the Netherlands, approximately 650 locations proudly carry the Green Key quality mark.
Our CSR efforts
At Aloha we take our CSR responsibilities seriously and strive to maintain Green Key certification. Here are some measures we have taken:
- Water saving: We minimize water use through water-saving taps and showers.
- Sustainable Products: We use eco-friendly shampoos, soaps, and cleaning products.
- Energy Efficiency: We have implemented LED lighting to save energy.
- Waste management: We recycle glass, paper and residual waste, and work to reduce plastic waste.
- Sustainable Sourcing: We strive to source organic and fair trade food products.
- Green Events: We organize events such as beach clean-ups and work with resource hunters to promote sustainability.
Our Future Goals
We have achieved the Green Key quality mark at Gold level, but we are determined to continue and improve our efforts. Our goal for the future is to become even more sustainable and to make all aspects of our company more sustainable.
