The Chopper is a versatile shape – it’s a cruisey ride when the conditions suit, but give it a big open face and it’ll fire on all cylinders. We’ve updated the shape with more forward volume for a more flowy, forward trim style of surfing from the front half of the board but with slightly more flip in the tail rocker for tighter turns and aggressive surfing. This is a very user friendly board that suits small wave days and pumping days as well.

With a 2+1 fin set-up it can be ridden as anything from glidey single fin, 2+1 or thruster.

TEC - TORQ EPOXY COMPOSITE

Torq Epoxy Composite offers performance shapes in our state-of-the-art epoxy layup. These boards have the best balance of Lightweight versus Durability. Using our own unique lamination process, we are able to use a very strong fiberglass lay-up of 6oz and 4oz combined in 3 layered deck and 2 layered base (with a 4 layered rail lap) with a high density EPS foam, but still achieve a board weight that matches a lightweight fiberglass lay-up.

The result is light but very strong board, with good flex characteristics and as with all torq's, excellent value for money.

The Torq TEC midlengths feature a UD carbon twin strip on the deck and triple strips on the bottom for a new level of torsional strength. Combined with 6+6+4oz deck and 6+4oz base, these boards are incredibly strong, light and responsive.
